A concept, not a shop

Parelle is a concept brand created for a Virtual Enterprise class. The pieces, prices, sizes, colours and order links on this site show how the brand would work.

Nothing here is for sale. The bag and checkout work the way a real store's would, but placing an order takes no payment, and no product will be made or delivered.

What the pages show you

The interactive pieces on each page are illustrations. The heat view on the tank page uses rates chosen to look right, not measurements of a real fabric.

The UV readings on the half-zip page come from a published clear-sky model and a fabric's UPF rating. They are not a forecast and they are not medical advice. For real days in the sun, follow your local UV index forecast and health guidance.

Specifications

The cloth, fibre content, sun protection rating, recycled content, country of making, sizes, shipping and returns described on this site are the design specification of a concept brand. They have not been made or tested. A real Parelle would test the cloth and confirm every figure before selling a piece.

Your drawings

The prints you draw in the print room are yours. They stay in your browser (see the privacy policy), and a saved print is a file on your own device.

Once you stop drawing, the print room checks the print for a swastika, including one made by a repeat, and takes off the strokes that made it. The check runs in your browser; nothing is sent anywhere.

The site itself

The design, text, images and code of this site belong to the people who made it for the class. The exceptions are the typefaces, Instrument Sans and Martian Mono, used under the SIL Open Font License, and the three.js library, used under the MIT License.

Using the site

Use it, share it and play with it. Please do not try to break, overload or misuse the site or the service that hosts it.

No guarantees

The site is provided as it is, for a class. It may change, stop working or go offline at any time, and the people who made it are not responsible for any loss that comes from using it.

These terms may be updated as the project changes. The date at the top says when they last were.
