Where it crosses is what counts
A strip over the back of the wrist stops it bending forward. Over the palm side, it stops it bending back. A strip that does not cross the joint does nothing for it.
Nº 13 The shelf
Rigid cotton tape hardly stretches at all. Lay a strip across a joint and the joint bends only as far as the strip allows.
The strip
Tape it. Then try to bend it.
Draw strips across the wrist · then drag the hand to bend it
A strip over the back of the wrist stops it bending forward. Over the palm side, it stops it bending back. A strip that does not cross the joint does nothing for it.
The weave tears straight across in your fingers, so there is no looking for scissors between sets.
Tape changes how a joint moves. For an injury, have a physiotherapist tape it.
