Where it goes
A couple of fingers below the bend of the elbow, with the pad on top of the forearm, where the muscles that hold the grip are thickest.
Nº 12 The shelf
Hit the ball off the middle of the pala and you hardly feel it. Hit it off the edge and a shake runs up the forearm to the elbow. The band sits in its way.
The shake
Hit it off-centre. Feel it at the elbow.
Click the pala to hit a ball · drag the band along the arm
A couple of fingers below the bend of the elbow, with the pad on top of the forearm, where the muscles that hold the grip are thickest.
The pad presses on a small area. The strap round it stays loose enough to slide a finger under.
A sore elbow needs someone who can look at it. The band is for comfort, and it will not mend an arm.
